If I Stay - Gayle Forman

I was nervous going in to this since the cover says Twilight fans would like it. (And I am far from a Twilight fan.) But this book had be from the jump. If I can start a book at noon and have it done by 9 that night, it's a 5-star read. (Unless I finish it so fast because it's so bad I can't believe what I'm reading.) This book was amazing in a heartbreaking way.

I look at my husband and think back to how we were when we started dating. We were 15, freshmen in high school and totally gaga for one another. And we still are. And I think of Mia and Adam, and I can't imagine having to make that decision. To go be with your family on the other side or brave the pain and torture and loss to stay with the one you're in love with.

This book makes me think about life. A lot. About all that I have that I sometimes take for granted. And I cried so many times during this novel. For them as well as my own thoughts and emotions. Loved it. Loved it. Loved it.
