So, Carter is in Memphis, my home town. And he's at The Pyramid. I am in love with that arena. It's a beautiful piece of work.
But for those of you that aren't from Memphis, The Pyramid has been abandoned for 10+ years since the Grizzlies came to town and demanded a "better" arena. Mind you, Memphis STILL OWED MONEY on The Pyramid. After some negotiation, THIS is what my amazing Pyramid will be:
A fucking Bass Pro Shop. Am I the only one that doesn't like this? I love Bass Pro, but the architecture makes no damn sense. Plus, parking is already a nightmare. I can't imagine trying to park downtown with THIS nightmare nearby.
Okay, I feel better now that I ranted a bit.
BTW, Mr. Riordan, most Memphians don't eat beef brisket when they eat BBQ. They eat pull pork WITH COLE SLAW. Just an FYI.
