...but to milk that cash cow that is The House of Night.
In 300 pages, nothing was resolved. Nothing really happened until the last 10 pages. The rest was teenage angst and useless filler. Zoey and Aurox. Zoey and Stark. Zoey. Zoey. Zoey. She speaks like a toddler, acts like a whiny baby and doesn't really accomplish anything in this book but really hurt her boyfriend's feelings and lose her temper a lot.
The best part of this book? The reason it got 3 stars? I heart Rephaim and Stevie Rae. I just can't help it. I get all mushy when those two are together.
I used to love these books so much. But it's been dragged out so damn long I can hardly remember important details. And the teams have changed sides so many times it's really ridiculous. And this book only seemed to serve as filler and provide convenient deaths of characters the Cast's were tired of having around.
Only one more book. One more. I can do this. I can do this.
