First I would like to say: OMG OMG OMG!!!! MUST GET NEXT BOOK!
Now that I have that out of my system, this book was FAR better than The Immortal Rules. I was sucked in immediately to this and couldn't put it down. I am very good at figuring out plots, and this book was no different, but I didn't mind for once. I had it all figured out but still loved the journey. I can't wait to get The Forever Song and see how all this plays out.
Allie was much more mature and tolerable in this book. I found her a lot more grown up and strong. Kanin was as stoic and loveable as ever.
Jackal is....well.....
Yep, that's who I see when I see Jackal. Personality and all.
So often, the second book in a series is a slump. But I found this one to be a whole lot more enjoyable that the first. I'm looking forward to the rest of the saga.
