I think I summed this book up well when I said it was a whiny Victorian teenage drama. It was like Pretty Little Liar meets One Life to Live meets 1899. I'm really not sure what to think of this. I hated nearly every person in this book except Elizabeth, but I was really drawn in by her romance with Will. Everyone else could go jump off a cliff.
I'm listing this as a guilty pleasure because I can't say it was good, but I couldn't put it down. I might actually read more of this series, despite my big WTF about half the evil bitches in the book.
Oh well. It was a pretty quick read, and I enjoyed the time period and the scenery. I just despise the way woman had to act back then. Sooooo many mixed feelings about this. Again, oh well.
