Rakkety Tam (Redwall, #17) - Brian Jacques
I enjoyed this book a bit more than the last 2 Redwalls I read. I'm going to say I was surprised with the level of gore in this book, since this series if for tweenagers. Cannibals was a much different angle, and introducing a wolverine was pretty cool. I also loved Rakkety Tam himself. He was very gallant and chivalrous. Plus there was a love story toward the middle of the book which is rare for this series. And I'm a sucker for romance. Of course, like all Redwalls, there's a Happily Ever After ending, which is a bit nauseating but for kids, it works. Anyway, I liked this one! It was everything I remember and loved about this author. What a shame he passed away.
