I was dismissed from jury duty. I can't discuss details but it was a 1st degree murder charge. I was not okay with having that much pressure, especially when they said they would have us watch an actual video of the crime. I told them truthfully that I would have nightmares if forced to see that.
For once, my mental health issues paid off. Plus, those chairs were killing me.
Back to the book, this is really a scary thing, given the world we live in.
