Taking Charge of ADHD: The Complete, Authoritative Guide for Parents - Russell A. Barkley

Since my boy's diagnosis, I have begun the arduous task of learning all I can about this problem from reputable sources. I have a highlighter and a brand new of this book. We aren't very far into things but the patients discussed are so much like Jake. This book is shaping up to be a great source. Thanks to OU Children's Psychiatric for recommending.

Edit: I have my own pile of problems: OCD, PTSD, anxiety with depression and Adult Child of an Alcoholic Syndrome. So I am well versed in mental disorders. But ADHD is not something I have ever researched. I am a momma that does all she can for her boy. Bullies? I meet the parents, call the school, speak with the superintendent. Taekwondo? I make him try his best, go to all his belt tests, get him good gear. So, ADHD with ODD? I will turn into  walking resource.
