I'm not sure how I feel about this so far. Piper is an artist, which is why I was so drawn to this book. I have been an artist my whole life. I majored in art education in college. I still love to paint and I keep a supply of acrylics on hand at all times. Piper is also pretty misunderstood by her parents too, like me. But she's so....so dense. Her boyfriend is gay, and she honestly thinks she made him that way because she looks too boyish. I don't know if this is going well. I'm hoping it improves.
