I don't know about this. There's a lot of jumbled mess happening. Events happen in rapid fire, with very little world building and even less character description. Without needed details, it is so hard to picture things.

 

And let's discuss the main character's name: Halen Windspeare. Whaaaaa.....? She sounds like she belongs in a Redwall book or a character from Dungeons and Dragons.
