This counts as my challenge Pulitzer Prize winner book.
And quite frankly, right now I have no clue what I'm reading. It's clearly about a Korean boy named Jun Do (which I am pronouncing John Doe and keep thinking of crime scenes). There are a lot of terms I don't understand and can't figure out. Mostly Korean terms like "9-27 camp", "kwan li so labor camps", "Juche 85", and "DMZ". There's more, but you get the idea. Hopefully this will improve. So far, it's a little like reading Pride and Prejudice if it took place in Korean. Sort of.
